The boyfriendable baritone

Deadpan singing, sunny melodies, and lyrics
that are witty and lovelorn.

Halloween: Yep, laptops are decked out too.

On milkshakes and football

On NBC Sunday Night Football, Toyota has been running a segment
onthe Helena high football rivalry. I was interested to see
much of the segment centered on The Parrot Confectionary in
Helena's Last Chance Gulch. Dave Duensing, the Parrot's owner
is featured at length. I had the privilege of meeting this
character while interviewing business owners across Montana.
Obviously, his celebrity stock has risen since.

This will change your life - Great Lake Swimmers

Songs largely inspired by Canada's natural environment
and the band's relationship with the land.
Also touches on understanding life journeys
and the cycle of living and dying.
At once haunting. It's hauntingly beautiful, too.

So long record industry?

Not only have Radiohead dropped the surprise announcement
that their new album In Rainbows is set for release October 10,
but they’ve also gone ahead and dropped the need for a record
label with whom to release it. Odder still, the full-album download
is Pay What You Want (they really mean it too).
